Orange County CoolSculpting Experts & Fat Freezing Procedure

No Interest Payment Options Available

CoolSculpting might be for you if:

  • You have a desire to remove stubborn body fat.
  • You are looking for a non-surgical way to remove excess fat.
  • You have enough fat to treat - One general rule of thumb is that you have enough fat if you're able to grab and pinch an inch (if you can squeeze it, we can freeze it).

CoolSculpting

Freeze away your fat! Literally! CoolSculpting is a nearly unbelievable non-surgical treatment that reduces fat through a specialized fat-freezing device. With a unique suction and cooling system, the CoolSculpting device grabs ahold of fat in problem areas and applies a precise level of coldness from outside of the skin. The end result is a noticeable reduction in fat without the need for surgery or downtime.

When it comes to CoolSculpting, like any surgical or non-surgical treatment, experience matters.  Our certified CoolSculpting technician, Rosie Moore has been refining her technique since 2012.  Rest assured, you are in the best hands when you choose CoolSculpting at CosmetiCare.

What do I Need to Know?

Fat cells, or adipose tissue, will die when exposed to a certain level of coldness. This process is known as Cryolipolysis and it leads to the formation of ice crystals within the cell walls. Once the ice crystals are formed, the fat cells can no longer function and they subsequently die off. After the fat cells are destroyed, your body naturally flushes them out. These fat cells are then permanently removed from your problem areas.

The CoolSculpting machine uses a vacuum-like suction device to attach itself to your fat and deliver the perfect amount of coldness to that area. Fat cells can be frozen at a higher temperature than the other tissues in your body, allowing the CoolSculpting device to specifically eliminate adipose cells without damaging anything else. The entire process can be completed in less than an hour, however it will take a few weeks for your body to naturally flush out the dead fat cells through your lymphatic system.

CoolSculpting is often used as a non-surgical and non-invasive alternative to more intensive treatments like liposuction. Performed in our MedSpa, CoolSculpting offers a quick, easy, and painless way to remove fat from your body.

How Will I Look & Feel Afterwards?

A CoolSculpting treatment typically lasts 35-60 minutes, depending on the area of the body being treated, and there is no post-procedural downtime or recovery. It is common to experience minimal discomfort during the first few minutes due to the cold temperature on the skin. However, the treatment area is usually numbed after a short while and the rest of the procedure is very comfortable. Patients can easily undergo a CoolSculpting treatment during a lunch break from work. In fact, the procedure is so easily done that patients often continue to work, watch Netflix, or even eat lunch during their CoolSculpting session.

The results of CoolSculpting are not immediate and it can take up to four weeks for patients to see significant fat reduction. During this time, your body will naturally eliminate your dead fat cells. Therefore, the results are gradually noticeable and it is common for multiple treatments to be required for optimized fat removal.

What Else do I Need to Know?
