Allison Alix Explaining Something

How Lip Fillers Can Help

Facial fillers come in a variety of different formulations, giving us the ability to select a product that will be directly tailored to the results in which you’re most interested. We understand that every patient is unique and that no two sets of cosmetic goals are ever quite the same. When you meet with your practitioner, they’ll get to know your cosmetic goals and help you pick the lip filler that’s ideal for you and the look you’re after.

Juvéderm XC

Juvéderm XC is a widely trusted dermal filler that is used to plump your lips, replacing lost volume and restoring a more youthful look.

Juvéderm Ultra Plus

Juvéderm Ultra Plus is ideal for those so-called “marionette lines” and deeper nasolabial folds that can form as part of the aging process.

Juvéderm Volbella

Juvéderm Volbella was designed to address the presence of vertical lip lines, which are sometimes referred to as “smoker’s lines” above and below the mouth.

Restylane Kysse

Restylane Kysse was specifically designed to restore volume in a way that looks naturalistic and preserves your full range of movement for truly impressive results that last up to a year.

How Do Dermal Fillers Work?

Dermal fillers like those made by Restylane or those found in the Juvéderm collection are made with a synthetic form of Hyaluronic Acid. This compound is found naturally in your body, but you produce less and less of it as you age. By replacing the presence of hyaluronic acid in the treatment area, dermal fillers replace the volume that’s been lost with age.

As a result, you’ll see a more smooth and plump appearance in the treatment area. You’ll enjoy a restored youthful glow that lasts for up to an entire year, and the process by which we create these impressive results is surprisingly simple. The product is injected into the treatment area using a very fine gauge needle, with a topical numbing agent to keep you comfortable.

Once your lip filler session is over, you’ll experience some tenderness and slight redness in the treatment area. This will fade over the course of the next day or two, however, leaving you to enjoy your impressive results as you rejoin your normal daily activities. The lack of any real downtime makes this treatment especially popular with our more active patients.
