Juvéderm Volux
Juvéderm Volux is a dermal filler and the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid-based filler used for adding volume and definition to the jawline. Juvéderm Voluma
Juvéderm Voluma is another hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler in the Juvéderm collection. What Should I Expect During the Treatment?
If you’re interested in jawline slimming treatment, you can start the process by having a consultation with one of our medical providers at CosmetiCare. During the consultation, they will examine your chin and jawline and ask you about your specific aesthetic goals. They will then discuss your different jawline slimming treatment options with you to help you determine which one is the best fit for your needs. Your provider will also have questions about your current health, medical history, allergies, and any medications you’re taking to ensure that you’re a good candidate for our jawline slimming procedures.
Once you’ve had your consultation and your provider has created a custom-tailored treatment plan, your jawline slimming treatment will be a quick and simple outpatient procedure. To begin, a topical numbing cream will be applied to your skin around the treatment area. Your provider will then use a very fine needle to inject the Injectables, Juvéderm, or Kybella into your skin around the jawline and/or chin. Overall the procedure should only take approximately 15 to 30 minutes, and you can return home immediately after it’s finished.
How Long Is the Recovery Time?
Although the recovery period can differ slightly depending on which jawline slimming treatment you undergo, these procedures typically require very little recovery time. You may experience some swelling, bruising, redness, and soreness following the treatment, and your provider will give you detailed instructions for the healing process. You should be able to return to work and your normal routine within a day or two, and it’s advised that you avoid strenuous physical activity for at least 24 hours.
