Chin Implant and Cheek Implant

Actual CosmetiCare Patient

4.5/5 based on 359 reviews

I was referred to Dr. Niccole by a friend of mine. He did my breast aug two weeks ago and I can honestly say it was such an easy, painless process. I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a BA. I had very minimal pain post-surgery and I am very impressed by how professional everyone in the office has been. CosmetiCare is definitely a place that really cares about its patients.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Breast Augmentation with Breast Implants cost?

Breast Augmentation at CosmetiCare starts at $6,000 with a saline implant. The cost does vary based off the implant type. The popular Gummy Bear implant starts at $6,650 for a primary breast augmentation.

How often do you have to exchange or replace breast implants?

We recommend implants get replaced every 10 – 15 years to maintain breast health. Additionally, there are many other reasons patients choose to undergo breast implant exchange or breast revision.

In some cases, women are unhappy with their surgical outcomes (typically size-related). In other cases, women are looking to trade older saline implants for gummy bear breast implants using cohesive silicone gel for a more natural feel and appearance.

At your consultation, one of our board-certified plastic surgeons will discuss the procedure, outlining the recovery and healing process along with realistic expectations so you leave well equipped to make the best decision.

What Will My Scars Look Like After Breast Implants?

You’ll have scars from the incisions – and the placement and shape of scarring are dependent on the type of implant used and the entry point to achieve your overall goals. Rest assured, these scars should fade over a year or two, becoming less noticeable.

CosmetiCare offers comprehensive scar treatment solutions. During your consultation with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons, they’ll discuss the recovery and healing process and how to minimize scarring post-procedure.

Will Insurance Cover Breast Augmentation with or without Breast Implants?

Breast augmentation is considered cosmetic surgery, so it’s not covered by insurance.

If cost is of concern, we offer financing options to help our patients pay off the cost of their procedure over time. In just minutes, you can apply here to see what you are pre-qualified for before your consultation.

Cost Factors

Many patients want to know the exact costs of their procedure. We can tell you a breast procedure ranges from $6,000 to $14,000+. The range in price correlates to the range in breast procedure types. Do you need a primary breast augmentation, a breast lift (mastopexy) or a breast implant exchange? Do you want silicone or a saline implant? If you want a silicone implant what type? There are so many variables that must be determined before we can provide an accurate price. We look forward to meeting you at your consultation so we can discuss what procedure, implant and style is best for you!

Do you offer payment plans for surgery?

Yes. We are happy to extend 24 month no interest payment plans using Care Credit. Many patients choose to spread their surgery payments into monthly. Typical monthly installment are around $300.

What type of breast implant is the best choice, silicone or saline?

A careful choice must be made between silicone gel and saline implants. Before considering the cost factor, the patient should look at the attributes of each option and make an informed choice with their plastic surgeon. The big advantage of silicone implants is that they are the softest breast implants on the market. If you are looking for the most natural-looking and the most natural-feeling breast implant, then a silicone breast implant would be recommended. Saline implants are relatively cheaper, but they are also harder. Patients who want a more obvious augmented look may favor the saline implant due to its shape.

How Do I Choose My Breast Implant Size?

We love this question. We will create a simulation so you can try on your procedure during your consultation. This helps our patients truly understand how the procedure will look on their body and fosters a collaborative dialogue between you and your plastic surgeon.

How Long Does it Take to Recover From Breast Augmentation with Breast Implants Surgery?

Most people need about a week of recovery time immediately after your breast augmentation procedure.

Most people are back to work within a week, but you’ll need to hold off on sex for about two weeks and vigorous activity like running for about four weeks, depending on your surgeon’s recommendation.

Some surgeons also recommend sleeping on your back for about six weeks after surgery to prevent implant deformation. If you’re a side-sleeper and struggling, your surgeon may recommend using pillows for support.

At your consultation, one of our board-certified plastic surgeons will discuss the procedure outlining recovery, healing, and realistic expectations so you leave well equipped to make the best decision.

When Will I See Breast Augmentation / Breast Implant Results?

After your breast surgery, your breasts will begin to “drop and fluff” as the skin stretches and muscles relax, moving the implants from initially sitting high to a more natural position.

Six Week Mark:
Your new implants will start dropping down to a more natural position on your chest.
Swelling and skin tightness are normal as your new pair makes its new home.

Three Month Mark:
Your implants will be close to 80% settled into position and have now dropped down and come together to form your new cleavage.

Six Month Mark:
This is where you’ll see your 100% results!

At your consultation, one of our board-certified plastic surgeons will discuss the procedure, outlining the recovery and healing process along with realistic expectations so you leave well equipped to make the best decision.

What is the process? How do I move forward?

We are here to guide you through this process. Take the first step and come in for a consultation to meet with us.

How do I know if I need a lift?

During your consultation we will discuss your goals and expected result. The need for a lift is determined by your desired breast size, skin quality and the current position of your nipple with respect to your breast crease.

Can I breast feed after I have a Breast Augmentation?

Yes! Several studies have examined the ability of patients to breast feed following breast augmentation and clearly demonstrate that the rate of lactation issues is similar to those reported in postpartum women who did not undergo breast augmentation.

Where will my breast augmentation be performed? Is the surgery center certified by AAAASF?

We are proud to have our own plastic-surgery-specific and optimized surgery center called Balboa Surgery Center which is located on the first floor of our building. All of our staff members are highly trained and work specifically on plastic surgery patients all day, every day so that they are able to provide not only the most empathetic but also the most accurate and safe care for you, since they know exactly what they are doing. This includes our specific team of not only anesthesiologists but nurses, scrub techs, first assistants, etc. We are proud to be certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF) one of the largest surgery center governing bodies in the world. The accreditation and outside inspection process of Balboa Surgery Center ensures that we are providing the safest possible environment for our patients to have surgery.

What type of anesthesia will be provided?

We want your breast augmentation to be a completely pain-free experience. As a result, we will provide a general anesthesia, which means that you will be totally asleep for the surgery. This is the safest and most comfortable way for you to have a breast augmentation.

Who will be my anesthesiologist?

We use MD-only, board-certified anesthesiologists to perform our breast augmentations. We believe that the person who puts you to sleep for your surgery is every bit as critical as your surgeon. We do not use CRNAs, and we do not use Nurse-Anesthetists. While this may cost more, this is designed to ensure total safety and comfort during the procedure.
