How Microneedling Works
The Dermapen® is a fractional micro-needling device that works to tighten and rejuvenate the skin, reducing the presence of fine lines and wrinkles, while also addressing the appearance of acne scarring and stretch marks. Another benefit is that microneedling helps to firm and tighten the skin in the treatment area, for a lifted and rejuvenated look.
During your treatment, the microneedling handpiece will be applied to the treatment area, where it will use a series of ultra-small needles to create “microchannels” in the surface of your skin. This will trigger your body’s natural wound response, which sends a cascade of regenerative compounds to the treatment area, while also boosting collagen production.
A Quick and Easy Experience
Before your procedure, your nurse will apply a topical numbing agent so that you remain comfortable throughout your treatment experience.
