I had purchased many different swimwear styles. Had professional swimsuit fittings at expensive swimwear stores, and still never had the confidence I needed to feel good in my skin. Since I love spending almost every summer day with my children at the beach, I finally got tired of always sitting under an umbrella watching my children have all the fun just because I lacked self-confidence in wearing a swimsuit in public. At the end of last year, I made an appointment with Dr. Niccole at CosmetiCare to get a consultation on having a breast lift (mastopexy).
Breast Augmentation Post Op
It has been about three months since my surgery, and when I went on a recent weekend getaway to La Paz, I finally took off my cover-up and enjoyed spending time at the beach with my family. I might be a little too old to be wearing a “sexy swimsuit,” but I didn’t care. My thighs might be a little bit too big, or my belly might be bulging in the swimsuit, but I didn’t care. I was so happy to wear a swimsuit with complete self-confidence because of my new breasts. I loved being able to show my daughter that while I don’t have the perfect body, I shouldn’t be ashamed or embarrassed of my body. If there is something that is forcing me to feel insecure about my body, like with my breasts, it is ok to have them fixed.
