Dr. Michael Niccole, the founder and Medical Director of CosmetiCare Plastic Surgery Center and MedSpa, established the Magic Mirror Foundation in Orange County in 1987. The foundation was created to eliminate barriers for people in need of cosmetic or reconstructive surgery. Over the decades, the foundation has provided surgery to thousands of patients, including victims of domestic abuse, accident victims, breast cancer survivors, and victims of bullying.
This fall on Inside Edition, the Magic Mirror Foundation was featured as the results of life-changing facial surgery were revealed. Dr. Niccole performed a rhinoplasty (nose surgery) and chin augmentation in August 2018 to help a young high school student who was targeted by bullies at school because of her appearance. Inside Edition shared this story and followed the deserving high school student’s transformation journey at CosmetiCare.
The results of cosmetic or reconstructive surgery can vastly improve an individual’s self-esteem. Especially during formative years, those who have been extremely uncomfortable with their physical appearance are overjoyed to be able to live more normal lives after surgery.
Helping people was what compelled Dr. Niccole to establish the Magic Mirror Foundation more than 30 years ago. With all proceeds benefiting patients, it is truly a passion project. To learn more about the Magic Mirror Foundation or to donate to the charitable organization, please call CosmetiCare.
