Let’s all be real, we want to look our best on the big day! Let’s start with one of the most important features, our face.
To all my brides to be, you’ve made it through the fun part of your engagement. It’s now time to start a wedding beauty regiment together! It is now the perfect excuse for a makeover (even if you are not a future bride) so that you can have the best hair, skin, and nails of your life as you make your way down the aisle.
Jb and I are obsessed with self-care. We love getting our teeth whitened, going to the gym together, doing face mask together before bed… BUT now we have been introduced to the amazing Hydrafacial treatment with an amazing team at CosmetiCare.
We are about eight months out to our big wedding day in Mexico where it is beyond humid.
Which means oily skin could be in effect…
We are now starting our wedding beauty regiment and I highly recommend this to all future brides and even grooms! Do these activities together, it helps relieve the stress from wedding planning and you can even make a date out of it!
CosmetiCare is our go-to Medispa to get all of our wedding prep needs. We trust their super sweet and certified team to prep us to be flawless when saying our, “I Do’s”
They have many non-surgical and surgical treatments for almost everything.
We had the pleasure of working with Sarah who has been an R.N, specializes in injectables, laser various skin treatments for over 12 years! This was Jb’s first facial ever. He was extremely excited.
The HydraFacial Platinum is an incredible facial treatment package utilizing unique patented HydraFacial technology along with additional skin care methods. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the HydraFacial, it is an amazing facial rejuvenation treatment that cleanses, extracts, and hydrates. The HydraFacial Platinum is designed to maximize the entire HydraFacial experience by including pre and post facial enhancements.
You have to be careful at other places as they are imposters and say they have the Hydrafacial treatment but they call it Hydrofacial, Hydra Spa or Hydra Facial. THIS is NOT an actual HYDRAFACIAL!
This photo is after my treatment that took a little under an hr long.
It was AMAZING!
The first step was something that was very new to me and I was a little scared. Dermaplaning is where my entire face was shaved! Ladies, I highly recommend this as we actually have so much hair on our face it’s crazy and your makeup will now apply smoother than before. I was nervous because I thought your hair would grow back thicker, however that is a myth!
Here are more details about the Facial treatment straight from CostmetiCares website:
The HydraFacial Platinum treatment begins with a skin assessment and a detoxifying and cleansing lymphatic massage. This specialized massaging technique is designed to drain lymphatic fluids that have built up within the body. Lymphatic fluid buildup can increase the negative impacts of bodily toxins, aging, and other types of skin damage. Often times dermaplaning is added to a HydraFacial Platinum treatment as well.
The detoxifying massage is then followed by the traditional HydraFacial procedure. During this process, the patented HydraFacial device gently exfoliates and resurfaces the facial skin. The device then proceeds to painlessly suck out debris from your pores while delivering hydrating moisturizers. Lastly, the HydraFacial treatment protects your skin with antioxidants and peptides that maximize your face’s vibrant glow.
One of our favorite parts was the High-Frequency tool. The tool kills off any bacteria. It was really cool!
YES, this is all the gunk that as in Jb’s face. We both had about the same amount. Can you believe that was in our face? I mean EW!!!! This makes me so grossed out I actually almost vomited.
Thank you, Sarah and the CosmetiCare team for prepping our skin for our special day to come! Check out our faces we are glowing!!! #Groomglow
You may have heard it already, but it’s very important to do plenty of research before choosing a plastic surgeon. If you’re looking for an Orange County plastic surgeon, in particular, you have a lot of choices. Orange County is home to multiple plastic surgery practices, and picking one isn’t always easy, especially for your first procedure.
But if you take the right steps, you can find a friendly and trustworthy surgeon who can walk you through the process and help make your vision a reality.
One of your best sources of information is the people around you. If you have friends who have received plastic surgery in the past and loved their results, they may be able to refer you to their plastic surgeon. If not, you can simply ask people in the area or put out a message for recommendations on social media.
Plastic surgery boutiques open and close frequently in Southern California, so you’ll want to choose a practice that’s been established in Orange County for decades. An established practice will have an Orange County plastic surgeon who has seen hundreds of patients. They’ll have a more talented and experienced staff, so you can rest assured you’ll be in good hands.
Before choosing your surgeon, be sure to investigate their background as well. Most doctors won’t be shy about their education, their experience, and their accolades. If possible, locate a surgeon who has won awards in Orange County, or a surgeon who is affiliated with, or has experience working in, a highly rated hospital.
It’s important to know that some doctors may refer to themselves as “surgeons,” but they aren’t always qualified to do any real surgical procedures, such as a tummy tuck, breast augmentation, or a full body lift. This is why it’s important to do your research! Furthermore, it’s usually best to find a surgeon who has expertise in the type of plastic surgery you are interested in. For example, if you’re looking for rhinoplasty, it’s in your best interest to work with a surgeon who has years of experience performing rhinoplasty procedures.
It isn’t just the doctor who will be providing you with care. You’ll spend a great deal of time interacting with the staff, whether they are helping you book an appointment or helping you recover after a procedure. You need a team who truly cares about their patients.
One of the best ways to learn about a practice’s staff is to meet them yourself! Most plastic surgeons offer consultations with their team, which gives you the opportunity to meet the staff in person. It also gives you the opportunity to see their office. Make sure the premises are clean, comfortable, and inviting.
Choosing an Orange County plastic surgeon is an important decision. Take your time, and don’t hesitate to reach out to multiple practices to ask questions.

NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF. (February 19, 2019) – Dr. Brian Reagan, a board certified plastic surgeon, is combining new technologies to offer the most effective minimally invasive facial treatments available for patients at CosmetiCare, a plastic surgery center and MedSpa in Orange County, CA. As the demand for less invasive aesthetic procedures continues to grow, Dr. Reagan and CosmetiCare are proud to be able to offer new solutions for patients who don’t want to go under the knife.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the number of minimally invasive cosmetic procedures has grown nearly 200 percent since 2000, with no indication of slowing down. “Office-based procedures that require less downtime are appealing to patients for many reasons,” says Dr. Reagan. “With new technology, our office-based procedures can effectively address the three main issues patients experience as they age: textural changes, loss of volume, and skin laxity.”
Focusing on the face, Dr. Reagan can improve skin texture with RF microneedling (namely Fractora and Morpheus8), improve skin laxity with FaceTite and restore facial volume using the patient’s own fat with intelliFat and AquiCell.
Many patients would like the benefits of a facelift, but aren’t quite ready for the procedure. Knowing this, Dr. Reagan advocated for a solution for these patients at CosmetiCare.
“FaceTite by InMode is a perfect option for patients who want to achieve a more youthful appearance without an invasive procedure,” says Dr. Reagan. “With FaceTite, we are able to tighten the skin using radiofrequency energy within the dermis layer of the skin. We can provide the most skin tightening without a facelift using FaceTite.”
So how does FaceTite work? In short, FaceTite uses radio-frequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) and a small, hand-held device that passes radiofrequency energy through the skin, making only a few minimal markings that heal in a matter of days. The hand-held device is calibrated and controlled by the surgeon so that only an appropriate amount of heat is applied, and the skin is not damaged. The entire FaceTite procedure can take less than 40 minutes.
Combining FaceTite with Fractora and Morpheus8 technology, known as EmbraceRF, helps to bridge the gap between fractional lasers and surgical procedures. The RF microneedling devices from InMode provide improvement in skin complexion, reduction in skin irregularities and skin restoration. Again, harnessing the power of radio frequency, patients can now receive the ultimate non-invasive skin renovation without surgery.
Lastly, with intelliFat kits, Dr. Reagan can precisely harvest, process and transfer fat for patients to areas that they have experienced volume loss. The latest in fat transfer technology provides more predictable results and fat that lasts longer.
“Patients can opt to receive all of these procedures under local anesthetic, which is a huge selling point for some,” says Dr. Reagan. “The fear of general anesthesia can be a deterrent for patients, but a procedure under local anesthetic can seem less scary.”
CosmetiCare in Orange County is proud to offer FaceTite, BodyTite, Fractora and Morpheus8 procedures, using devices by InMode, a global provider of energy-based, minimally invasive aesthetic solutions. Combining these procedures with intelliFat, intelligent low volume fat transfer, is providing outstanding results.
“I’ve been practicing plastic surgery for 20 years and I believe the holy grail of facial rejuvenation is achieving significant rejuvenation results in a minimally invasive way with minimal recovery time,” says Dr. Reagan.
Dr. Reagan did his surgical training at Cornell Medical College/The New York Hospital, conducting wound care research that was awarded funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH). At the University of Texas at Southwestern in Dallas, considered by many to be the top plastic surgery program in the country, Dr. Reagan trained with recognized world experts in facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, and body contouring. He is a highly-recommended plastic surgeon and is well-known in the local medical community.

CosmetiCare Plastic Surgery Center and MedSpa announced the debut of the first issue of A New You, a magazine inspired by the belief that beauty starts with education. The announcement was made by award winning plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael Niccole, founder and Medical Director of CosmetiCare.
“After serving patients for almost 40 years, we wanted to offer the community more than just impeccable service, but a deeper look at who we are and where our industry is headed,” said Dr. Niccole.
A New You is designed to provide readers with an inside look at the world of aesthetics, including latest industry trends, best practices, common patient concerns, and tips from the experts. Each issue will also feature stories and testimonials from real patients with the goal of helping others.
The premiere issue will spotlight the story of a young patient who received the gift of plastic surgery through the Magic Mirror Foundation, a non-profit led by Dr. Niccole that provides no cost surgery to victims in need. After being bullied as a teen because of her appearance and suffering severe emotional trauma, the latest Magic Mirror Foundation beneficiary was granted her wish for rhinoplasty. The story aired on Inside Edition in the fall of 2018 and the exclusive interview by A New You follows up with the teen about her experience and new outlook on life.
The premiere issue of A New You will also feature an exposé on cosmetic surgery myths and truths, interviews with plastic surgeons on liposuction and life after liposuction, a behind-the-scenes look at the latest in aesthetic technology, plus seasonal articles including tips for reversing summer skin damage.
“Launching A New You is one of the many initiatives we’re undertaking to elevate the patient experience and help educate patients so they can make informed decisions,” said Dr. Niccole. “This is a very unique project for a private practice and we’re excited to introduce a truly exceptional magazine.”

So excited to share my experience with CoolSculpting at CosmetiCare with you all today. CosmetiCare is a plastic surgery and MedSpa center based in Newport Beach, California that offers a range of surgical and non-surgical treatments. After contemplating trying CoolSculpting for over a year due to mixed reviews from friends, I decided to finally give it a go.
I’ve been super insecure about my thick legs and bottom half since I was a teenager and have often thought about liposuction. I’ll be honest though, surgery is not for me! That’s why I was excited when I first heard about this non-invasive treatment that could help freeze the fat on my legs, thighs, butt and banana rolls.
Keep on reading below to find out more about the treatment, procedure and my experience.
What is CoolSculpting Treatment?
An innovative, non-surgical fat reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling and pressure to eliminate stubborn fat and contour your body that will not shrink through diet and exercise alone. No general/topical anesthesia or pain medication is needed and there’s no down time. You can resume normal exercise and activity immediately! You will start to notice results gradually over 2-4 months following the treatment and guarantees that it will remove 20-40% of the fat from the treatment area.
What was the CoolSculpting Procedure like?
The procedure was very quick and easy! I’m not going to lie, I was extremely nervous on the thought that I was about to be very cold and possibly in pain. My nervousness quickly dissolved during my consultation when I met Rosie Moore, the CoolSculpting Specialist at CosmetiCare. She was very sweet, attentive and answered all my questions perfectly which eased my anxiety. Rosie first had to check that I was a good candidate for this procedure by examining my entire body. Obviously, this treatment isn’t going to be for everyone! After touching my legs, she said my banana rolls and inner thighs were the perfect candidate (which I already knew they would be =) ) She then took my measurements, weight and a “before “picture of my body so we can see results down the road. On a normal basis after consultation, you’d go back for your first treatment but Rosie was kind enough to squeeze me in same day as I live very far from CosmetiCare. Here are a few tips they want you to know about how to prepare for treatment day:
1. Stop any medications that may thin your blood as bruising in treatment area is possible
2. Wear comfortable, loose clothes
3. Eat a light meal
4. Bring entertainment such as iPads, reading materials etc as treatments will vary from one to five hours.
There are two types of applicators (vacuum assisted and flat applicators) which may be used during your session. Rosie used the more common one on me, the vacuum assisted applicator that uses suction to draw the fat into the device. She placed one on each banana roll below my butt and explained the process thoroughly before starting so that I was comfortable and knew what to expect. The sensations felt like a deep, cold pulling and pinching but subsided over the short 35 minute treatment time. I actually fell asleep I was so comfortable! After removing the applicator, Rosie massaged my treatment area which felt slightly sore and bruised. I noticed how red the area was but after a few hours, all these sensations went away and the red subsided. I drove home as if nothing had happened.
What was your experience like at CosmetiCare with the CoolSculpting Treatment?
I had an overall amazing, comfortable, painless experience with CoolSculpting at CosmetiCare. I want to thank the friendly staff, Samer and Rosie for inviting me to share this opportunity. I’ll be going back in 12 weeks for one more treatment and can’t wait to share more results with you all then. Hopefully I will notice a difference in just a few weeks!
We’re also offering my readers 10% off your first treatment HERE using code: Melanee10. Definitely take advantage of this opportunity if you can as you won’t be disappointed.
Thanks for stopping by!
It has now been a few months since my second IPL treatment with Tannaz, a laser specialist at CosmetiCare, and I was curious about my results. The goal was targeting the sun damage on my face, making my complexion more smooth and brighter. An IPL is an Intense Pulse Light laser treatment that reduces brown or red pigmentation on the skin. It is primarily used to make the skin tone or color more even. Patients can expect a more even skin color, brightening and a slight tightening of the skin and added collagen that improves the texture
A Tummy Tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, is a plastic surgery procedure that aims to tighten abdominal muscles and remove excess fat and loose skin from the abdomen.
One year post tummy tuck and much has changed. In those early weeks, I could not see more than a few days in front of me. But time heals most things, and at some point, I found myself feeling “normal” again. These days, the only reminder of my surgery is a scar that sits right below my bikini line. Given the sheer significance of the surgery, I am amazed at how the body heals itself. For the last several weeks, Tannaz from CosmetiCare has been using ClearLift to help diminish the appearance of my scar.
ClearLift for Scars
I was first introduced to lasers years ago when I wanted to reduce the amount of hair on my legs. Laser Hair Removal was new at that time, painful, and very expensive. I knew very little about how lasers worked or what other conditions they could treat. CosmetiCare is excellent about providing education to their clients in order for them to make the best treatment decisions. It was during a community, open-house event at CosmetiCare where I learned all of the conditions that can be treated with lasers.
ClearLift is one of the laser treatments offered at CosmetiCare, and is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, scars (including acne scars), stretch marks, Melasma, deep pigmentation, photo damage, and more. The benefits of ClearLift include the fact that it is painless, can be completed in their office in 30 minutes or less, and requires zero downtime. Plus, it is safe for even the thinnest and most delicate areas. ClearLift’s unique method of energy dispersion includes emitting narrow pulse
Preparing for ClearLift
Before undergoing treatments with ClearLift, the nurse will determine if their are any contraindications which include (but are not limited to):
Certain medications (i.e. Accutane)
The nurse may also perform a skin test in the intended treatment area prior to the first session. During ClearLift treatments, protective eyewear must be worn by everyone in the room. Treatments can last 15 to 30 minutes every three to four weeks, depending on the area to be treated. For my tummy tuck scar, I had 3 ClearLift treatments.
Post-treatment care is minimal and can include the application of aloe vera gel to soothe the area. Sun exposure to the area should be avoided while receiving ClearLift treatments.
Does ClearLift Work?
After three treatments with ClearLift, I noticed a reduction in the dark pigmentation of my tummy tuck scar. I also noticed that it was flatter. The recommendation for treatment of my scar starts at 6 but is really dependent on each individual’s scar. Because of my ethnicity, I have a lot of pigment in my skin, thus the scar was darker than most. After some discussion with Tannaz from CosmetiCare, she advised 3 more treatments to significantly reduce the appearance of my tummy tuck scar.
