One Surgery or Two?

When planning to get my breast lift (mastopexy), one of the biggest decisions was whether or not to get lipo or a

abdominoplasty incisions at the same time. So many of my friends who have had their

Orange Country breast lift without implants also took care of their stomachs at the same time so that they only had one recovery.

During my first consultation with Dr. Niccole, he did recommend lipo if I wanted to have my full pre-baby body back but I was nervous about the recovery. I spent a lot of time thinking about this decision and finally came to the decision that I would work extra hard after my breast surgery to lose my baby weight naturally.

My Decision

It has been nine months since my breast surgery. I have been exercising 2-3 times a week, eating a low-calorie diet, and yet I still maintain the same weight that I was at the time of my breast surgery. While I am so happy with getting my pre-baby breasts back, I wish that the rest of my body was proportional. I wish that I could wear fitted clothes and ditch my daily work-out attire by feeling 110% comfortable with the look of my overall body. Many moms will be in the same position as me when it comes to their breast consultation.  Should you do it all at one? Should you wait? If you want your entire pre-baby body back, I recommend getting lipo or a tummy tuck at the time of your breast surgery. You’ll only go through one recovery, and within a month, you’ll be wearing your pre-baby jeans again and feeling 100% confident with your body.

What will I do next?

Since I only gave birth to one of my three kids and had a small preemie baby, I am not a candidate for a tummy tuck, but lipo would complete my mommy makeover. Will I end up doing lipo?
