Breast Lift (Mastopexy) with a bilateral implant exchange of saline to silicone implants from Mentor. Right and left implants contain 400cc. Profile: smooth round high profile gel. Placement: submuscular. Incision type: standard mastopexy/ anchor
This 40-year-old woman came to CosmetiCare to find out what options she had for improving the look of her sagging breasts. Both breasts had succumbed to the effects of gravity, with one of the breasts sagging lower than the other. She came to Orange County for new breast implants and a breast lift in the hopes of feeling good about her breast appearance again.
After arriving at the office, the patient underwent a consultation with one of CosmetiCare’s skilled surgeons. Examining the patient’s breasts, the surgeon pointed out that the most effective procedure would be a combined breast lift/augmentation. The procedure promised to lift the breasts up by several inches, while simultaneously evening them. The surgery involved using Mentor brand gel-filled implants and a left breast capsulectomy (removal of the scar tissue that had formed around the old implant. The smooth, round, moderate-plus profile implants totaled 450cc each. The implants were inserted under the muscle via a standard mastopexy/anchor incision.
The successful surgery resulted in even breasts with smaller areolas. The breasts were lifted by several inches, restoring a more youthful look, and the patient was very happy her Orange County plastic surgeon at CosmetiCare.
